A stray cat lies on the foot of a wall in the tree shade listlessly basking itself in the sun, cherry blossoms fell softly from the tree, people sitting by the streetside are all smiling with satisfaction.
Passing by the flower shop, I thought of Alkaid’s excited expression when he received the flowers he likes, by the time I came out again, in my hands soon has a bouquet with lots of fresh flower.
It was not the promised time yet but, I saw Alkaid from afar. He was hanging his head low, in some sort of deep thought I hid the flowers behind me, quickly running towards him.

It seems like he was surprised by my sudden appearance, after a while, he took out a bouquet of flowers from behind him — I just realised in front of me, that Alkaid also kept his hands behind him. 🦌: During Valentines Day, I remembered you really like those flowers on the flower swing, so I’ll give you those flowers again. 🦌: I hope you are happy as much as you were during that time. 🦌: Do… you not like it? 🖌️: No no, you gave it to me how could I not like it? I took out my hands out in front of Alkaid — along with that fresh flower bouquet.
🖌️: I also can’t hold them… Me and Alkaid looked at each other, in an instant we made eye contact, looking at each other we can’t help but laugh. 🦌: Let’s consider this as “being on the same page” 🖌️: Yeah, but how can we carry these two bouquets on the street?
We exchanged the “surprises” we prepared for each other, each person carrying a bouquet walking on the street. As expected, almost every person on the way threw astonished gazes at us. At this rate, we can’t stroll happily on the street..
Just when I was worried, Alkaid suddenly got closer to my ear and asked. 🦌: Do you remember that foreign variety show we watched together? 🖌️: Variety show? Effortlessly we reached an agreement, me and Alkaid immediately got to work. Alkaid held the bouquet in both of his hands and scattered the flowers, I followed after and used the ribbon from the bouquets to tie on the flowers, in no time, a bunch of simple pocket-sized bouquets were completed We still don’t where we want to put the bouquets, a little girl about four or five years old suddenly ran towards me.
👧: Pretty big sister*~ can you also give me a flower? The girl raised her head, showing a sweet smile. I squat down, and let her choose the flower she likes. The girl took out a white rose, politely thanked me, and than skipped towards a boy about the same age as her not far from us, the flower is put into his hands. The girl seemingly said some things, and the boy’s face suddenly turned red, shyly held onto her and walked away slowly.
🖌️: They really do grow up fast… I looked at Alkaid in a joking way, but discovered his eyes were following the small children leaving lost in thought. 🖌️: Alkaid, what is it? 🦌: Nothing, just that looking at them, I suddenly really want to know… if we also met from we were small, and grew up together, then what will we be like now?
